When not already paired, if I dial a number after turning on the recipient can hear me but I cannot hear them. The Blue Ant bluetooth device has some problems. The volume is weak; not horrible but could use a boost. Also, when a call comes in sometimes you cannot always engage the Blue Ant. I purchased five for Christmas and kept one. The one I kept has the following issues.
The only drawback I know of is that I hear an echo when I am talking to him on it. He likes it better than his ear bluetooth. It is very convenient to be able to carry it with you from vehicle to vehicle. Purchased this for my husband. It really works well.
